Maintenance Technician (Marine Manufacturing)

Location: Merritt Island, Florida, United States; onsite work throughout a multi-building manufacturing facility.

Salary: $21.22–$25.80 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze and repair mechanical problems, with a primary focus on HVAC, electrical systems, and resin and gel spray equipment.
• Maintain and repair forklifts, cranes, hoists, and other industrial equipment.
• Fabricate wood and steel items and build components to specifications.
• Troubleshoot motor controls, heating and cooling systems, lighting circuits, and other electrical systems.
• Track assignments through daily schedules and complete work safely, accurately, and on time.
• Work throughout the facility, including at heights, outdoors, and in changing manufacturing conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of facility maintenance experience preferred, including one year repairing pneumatic and fluid pump spray equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical experience, including the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and measurement devices.
• Ability to use a wide range of hand and powered tools, OHM/voltage meters, calipers, gauges, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to complete required forklift and high-lift/genie boom certifications.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, work at heights, travel extensively on foot, and work outdoors in all weather conditions while following safety procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience with Magnum-Venus internal and external spray systems.
• Experience with electrical motor controls and programming.
