Software Development Engineer (Beacon)

hirify.global develops Beacon Cloud, a software platform with developer tools, runtime execution systems, and financial-layer libraries.

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain clear, well-tested software.
• Develop and support Beacon Core Engineering tools, including IDE integrations, code review, test frameworks, and release processes.
• Work on runtime execution systems such as batch and supercomputer schedulers, containerization, coding libraries, dependency graphs, and deal models.
• Use AI agents safely to accelerate development and advise clients and internal teams on their use.
• Implement unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end automated testing.
• Collaborate across functions, improve performance and reliability, and troubleshoot production incidents.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience using Python or another object-oriented programming language.
• Excellent proficiency in Python.
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Strong command of a typed, object-oriented programming language and knowledge of software methodologies, tools, and architectural patterns.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust.
