Senior Software Engineer (Python)

Location: Hybrid position based in the Cambridge office, United Kingdom, with attendance required at least 2 days per week. Collaboration also takes place with R&D teams in London.

What you will do

• Prototype and develop innovative ideas, features, and services.
• Contribute to projects ranging from rapid experimentation to structured development of existing platforms.
• Advance methodologies for defending against unknown cyber-attacks.
• Optimize solutions for speed, scalability, and service improvement.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, project coordinators, and technical strategists.
• Develop core programming competencies while specializing in relevant technology areas.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with Python and production-quality coding skills.
• Solution-focused mindset and analytical problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work autonomously, make independent decisions, and collaborate effectively.
• Experience with statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Knowledge of or interest in cybersecurity and malware forensics.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud computing environments.
• Experience with JavaScript, Rust, or C++.
