TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Python): Developing and prototyping innovative cybersecurity solutions for the Active AI Security Platform with an accent on system scalability and performance. Focus on building novel defense methodologies, optimizing complex data systems, and collaborating across R&D teams to protect global organizations from unknown threats.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the Cambridge office (hybrid, 2 days/week required)

What you will do

  • Own the prototyping and development of innovative features to enhance cybersecurity services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and technical strategists.
  • Balance creative problem-solving with structured development to implement novel features.
  • Contribute to projects ranging from rapid prototyping to long-term platform development.
  • Optimize solutions for speed and scale within a high-growth environment.
  • Advance unique methodologies for defending against unknown cyber-attacks.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work from the Cambridge office at least 2 days per week.
  • Strong programming skills with the ability to write production-quality code.
  • Experience in statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on solution-oriented problem solving.
  • Interest or knowledge in cybersecurity and malware forensics.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of cloud computing environments.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Rust, or C++.
