What you will do

• Implement and maintain the site’s EHSS&S management systems and corporate safety programs.
• Lead accident, injury, and near-miss investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage environmental permits and regulatory programs, ensuring audit readiness and timely reporting.
• Develop and maintain employee health risk assessments, chemical inventories, and the site Chemical Hygiene Plan.
• Support Process Safety Management (PSM) programs, including HAZOP reviews and Management of Change (MOC) activities.
• Partner with employees and leadership to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DHS, Responsible Care, RMP, and PSM regulations.
• Experience developing EHS training programs and conducting incident investigations.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Simpsonville, South Carolina, USA.
• Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing environment and wear required PPE.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical manufacturing or highly regulated industrial environments.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CIH, or CHMM.
• Familiarity with SWPPP, SPCC, and NAD Stormwater management.
• Experience with industrial hygiene assessments and exposure monitoring programs.
