Salary: $85,000 - $125,000

What you will do
- Implement and maintain the site’s EHSS&S management systems and corporate safety programs.
- Lead accident, injury, and near-miss investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage environmental permits and regulatory programs, ensuring audit readiness and timely reporting.
- Develop and maintain employee health risk assessments, chemical inventories, and the site Chemical Hygiene Plan.
- Support Process Safety Management (PSM) programs, including HAZOP reviews and Management of Change (MOC) activities.
- Partner with employees and leadership to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DHS, Responsible Care, RMP, and PSM regulations.
- Experience developing EHS training programs and conducting incident investigations.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Simpsonville, South Carolina, USA.
- Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing environment and wear required PPE.
Nice to have
- Experience in chemical manufacturing or highly regulated industrial environments.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CIH, or CHMM.
- Familiarity with SWPPP, SPCC, and NAD Stormwater management.
- Experience with industrial hygiene assessments and exposure monitoring programs.
