Senior EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Denver, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, full-time plant role

Salary: $131,900–$181,400 per year

What you will do

• Manage environmental, health, and safety programs for the plant, including OSHA, EPA, and state and local regulatory compliance.
• Develop site-specific health and safety programs and coordinate implementation with Quality, Sanitation, Maintenance, and other support functions.
• Conduct operational hazard assessments, evaluate engineering controls and personal protective equipment, and develop corrective action plans.
• Lead mandatory OSHA, first-aid responder, and operational hazard-specific training.
• Manage injury response and workers’ compensation claims, investigate incidents, identify trends, and recommend preventive measures.
• Lead local safety staff, facilitate safety committees, provide performance metrics, and support the site leadership team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 8+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to provide guidance on high-risk EHS matters, including continuous availability when required.
• Experience with risk management, regulatory compliance, incident investigation, training, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead organizational change.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety and Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, or another technical field.
• Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods.
• ASP or CSP certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA and federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.
• Experience with risk assessments, emergency response planning, analytical work, and employee communication.
