Senior Project Cargo Operations Manager, North America

What you will do

• Lead operational excellence across North American project cargo activities and support complex, high-value executions.
• Ensure consistent application of best practices, compliance standards, safety protocols, and KPI-based performance management.
• Design and deliver project cargo training while mentoring operations teams and branch personnel.
• Establish standardized operating procedures and lead initiatives to improve productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage relationships with carriers, heavy-haul providers, rigging specialists, and other service providers.
• Support customer meetings, solution design, project planning, sales alignment, and management of a Top 10 target account list in CRM.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in project cargo, heavy-lift, or specialized logistics operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of multimodal project cargo execution across air, ocean, road, and rail.
• Experience leading complex logistics projects and driving operational improvements.
• Experience in vendor management and strategic sourcing.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver training and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience supporting business development.
