Software Engineer 2 - Python/Terraform/AWS/CI/CD

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain software using Python.
• Deploy cloud-native applications in AWS.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Implement containerized workloads using Kubernetes or AWS Elastic Container Service.
• Derive software requirements and collaborate on multi-team software projects.
• Contribute to Agile software development processes and continuous delivery.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Fourteen years of software engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of software engineering experience in lieu of the degree.
• Professional experience with Python, Terraform, AWS cloud-native application deployment, and containerization using Kubernetes or AWS Elastic Container Service.
• Experience with Agile software lifecycles, software requirements, and multi-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• GitLab CI/CD pipeline automation.
• AWS cloud architecture deployment experience.
• Cloud stability, resilience, and failover experience.
