Software Verification Engineer (Avionics)

Salary: $65,499.20–$90,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Support a customer as part of the hirify.global Avionics software verification team.
• Conduct software code reviews.
• Design, review, and execute software tests.
• Perform testing with Hardware-in-the-Loop equipment and a low-level testing tool.
• Contribute to technology supporting modern aircraft.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field, plus 2+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with C or an equivalent language.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of professionalism, work ethic, and attention to quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with DO-178C.
• Experience with software verification.
