Salary: $50,000–$75,000 per year

What you will do

  • Inspect components and assemblies during receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Verify products and processes against applicable requirements across multiple product families.
  • Complete required inspection data entries and communicate findings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow established safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate within the team to achieve company and department goals.
  • Perform additional duties related to assigned areas as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • 5+ years of experience inspecting mechanical components in an aerospace or defense company.
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, CMM, and optical inspection systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO/AS procedures, GD&T, and applicable industry standards.
  • Ability to read and understand English and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Basic PC skills, attention to detail, and a meticulous working style.

Nice to have

  • CMM programming and experience with PCDIMS software.
  • ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt, CQE, or CQM certification.
  • Experience working directly with internal and external customers and suppliers.

  • Full-time position with a 9/80 work schedule.
  • Monday through Thursday: 6:00 AM–3:30 AM; Friday: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with an eight-hour shift every other Friday.
