Senior Underwriting Operations Associate- International Property Make an Impact

Location: Hybrid work in Kansas City, MO; Windsor, CT; or Alpharetta, GA, US, with at least three days in the office each week. Full-time telework is not available.

Salary: $52,000–$78,000 base salary per year, plus potential incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Process and manage underwriting assignments accurately, on time, and in compliance with established standards.
• Coordinate with underwriters, brokers, onshore and offshore support teams, and partners in Products, Finance, and Claims.
• Analyze preliminary deal information, prepare account data, review source documents, and draft professional business correspondence.
• Generate and verify business reports while working across complex underwriting systems, tools, and processes.
• Identify and resolve workflow issues, follow up with stakeholders, and support continuous process improvement, testing, and piloting.
• Maintain standard operating procedures and coach colleagues as a subject matter expert in international business processes.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in business operations within insurance or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to analyze data, evaluate detailed information, identify solutions, and follow established procedures.
• Experience with underwriting systems and tools, or the ability to learn complex platforms quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including professional business correspondence.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; a four-year degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
