Field Technician - Water Resources (Environmental Engineering)

Location: Tampa, Florida, USA; full-time onsite field work

What you will do

• Conduct construction quality assurance observations for Water and Solid Waste projects.
• Perform environmental monitoring and field sampling across soil, groundwater, surface water, air, and landfill gas.
• Work with Project Engineers, Geologists, and Project Managers to complete field assignments.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and field records.
• Support compliance with project specifications and facility operating permits.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Drafting/CAD Design, Surveying, Environmental Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or at least three years of relevant sampling, monitoring, and CQA experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to operate a company or personal vehicle for business travel during work hours.

Nice to have

• Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical or controls skills.
