Plant Engineer (Air Separation Units)

Location: New Carlisle, Indiana, United States; 50% travel is possible and short-notice travel is required.

What you will do

• Provide engineering support to zone operations and help Plant Managers resolve technical and operational issues.
• Investigate operational and HSE incidents and develop corrective and preventive actions.
• Create, update, and review PHAs, P&IDs, MOCs, SOPs, and Maximo job plans.
• Manage minor plant projects, including upgrades, retrofits, improvements, and expansions.
• Develop designs, cost estimates, economic justifications, and Authorization for Capital Expenditure requests.
• Oversee project execution, design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness while maintaining requirements, schedules, budgets, and compliance.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of operational or engineering experience.
• Technical expertise in the operation and maintenance of Air Separation Units.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under stress and time constraints in both corporate and field environments.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., maintain full range of motion, travel on short notice, and remain reachable 24/7.

Nice to have

• BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
