Plant Engineer (Hydrogen)

Location: Luling, Louisiana, United States; full-time, field- and office-based plant work

What you will do

• Support plant projects from scope development through implementation, including cost-benefit evaluations.
• Drive safety, environmental, BSP, and Process Safety Management compliance initiatives across multiple regional facilities.
• Improve plant reliability and performance through equipment monitoring, KPI tracking, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.
• Lead and support Management of Change, eMOC, and technical review processes.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Process Engineering, Project Teams, and business stakeholders to optimize productivity, reliability, and profitability.
• Maintain P&ID integrity, alarm management systems, and engineering documentation while supporting outage planning, audits, permitting, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Seasoned leadership and engineering-based experience, with strong plant operating experience in facilities of similar complexity.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement through analytical reviews of complex systems.
• Experience and knowledge in safety, environmental performance, quality, employee engagement, and team building.
• Strong communication, organizational, self-starting, and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to employee involvement, inclusion, and diversity.

Nice to have

• Previous use of Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis methodologies.
• Interest in progressing toward operations leadership roles.
• Veteran experience and background.
