What you will do
- Lead day-to-day production and distribution operations at a 24/7 air separation facility.
- Directly manage the Distribution Supervisor, operators, drivers, and vehicle mechanics.
- Lead safety, health, and environmental performance and ensure compliance with company, state, and federal standards.
- Oversee Management of Change processes, including procedure development, documentation, and implementation.
- Coordinate maintenance concerns with the regional maintenance team and implement corrective and preventative measures.
- Coach and develop employees while driving productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma with 5+ years of plant or operations experience, or a bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in process plant operations and/or maintenance.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, coaching, and teaching skills.
- Commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, regulatory compliance, teamwork, and employee development.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and reporting programs in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proficiency with PC applications.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of distribution operations and/or maintenance.
- Experience working in a matrix organization.
- SAP experience.
- Engineering bachelor's degree with supervisory experience.
