Operations Technician (Industrial Gases)

What you will do

• Operate and adjust plant systems, valves, process equipment, and pipeline delivery systems.
• Monitor production conditions, maintain electronic logbooks, and support reliability, efficiency, and productivity goals.
• Identify and resolve process upsets using operating indicators and DCS trends.
• Calibrate and operate process and pipeline analyzers, complete inspections, water treatment routines, and preventive maintenance.
• Issue safety work permits, perform lockout/tagout procedures, and inspect work areas for hazards and mechanical issues.
• Load trailers and support product loading operations while maintaining clean and orderly workspaces.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of operations experience or a two-year degree in Process Technology.
• Experience with personal computers and/or DCS systems.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Ability to meet mandatory call-in requirements, climb ladders and stairs, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in all weather conditions.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.

Nice to have

• Military experience.
• Electrical, instrumentation, or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret piping and instrumentation drawings.
