What you will do
- Support daily plant and driver operations, including DOT compliance, driver safety programs, fleet maintenance coordination, plant troubleshooting, and site project management.
- Lead frontline activities, develop talent, promote teamwork, and coordinate workload with support teams.
- Provide vacation relief for process operators and maintain plant coverage when operational issues arise.
- Manage the site’s Basic Safety Process and Process Safety Management programs with a focus on preventing safety incidents.
- Ensure environmental compliance and operate within approved safety, design, and permit limits.
- Identify maintenance concerns, implement corrective measures, and support preventive maintenance and mechanical integrity programs while coordinating with the source ethanol plant, customers, and commercial teams.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; military experience may substitute for a formal degree.
- Five or more years of relevant operations and maintenance experience in an industrial plant required.
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to identify and develop talent.
- Excellent oral and written communication, administrative, organizational, and digital literacy skills.
- On-call responsibilities and weekend coverage every other week are required.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
