Avionics Logistics Engineer II (Avionics)

Location: Endicott, New York, United States; ability to work on-site is desired.

Salary: $66,000–$85,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Update procedures, operating manuals, and technical documentation for embedded avionics control systems.
• Maintain final documentation in Windchill and retrieve requirements from DOORS.
• Review internal and external customer questions about procedures and manuals.
• Evaluate documentation deltas and update scope.
• Coordinate implementation and verification of updated manuals with Engineering and ILS systems teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with documentation systems such as Windchill and documentation tools such as Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to understand and discuss technical communications.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with suppliers, clients, and colleagues.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and part lists.
• Avionics experience with DOORS or similar requirements databases.
• Functional knowledge of hardware, software, and firmware documentation, avionics engineering tools, industry standards, and best practices.
