Senior Field Engineer (Electrical Safety)

Location: Baltimore, MD, USA; travel required approximately 70%

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct field evaluations of electrical equipment for compliance with product safety standards.
• Perform equipment labeling to applicable US and Canadian safety requirements.
• Support department objectives and broader company goals.
• Communicate professionally with customers and maintain customer service standards.
• Complete assignments accurately, honestly, professionally, and on time.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience conducting field evaluations and labeling.
• Experience applying US and Canadian safety standards, including UL 508A, UL 61010-1, UL 62368, UL 60335, NFPA 79, and SPE 1000 programs.
• Required knowledge of NFPA 70 and the Canadian Electrical Code.
• Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.
