Sr Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Hybrid, onsite 3 days per week in North Andover, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 per year, plus sign-on bonus and an 8% target bonus plan

What you will do

• Design and develop analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power circuits for Ivenix products.
• Build and test prototypes to verify electrical design functionality.
• Perform and document failure analysis for returned products.
• Investigate new technologies and best practices while optimizing designs for cost, quality, reliability, and high-volume assembly.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional internal and external resources during design, prototyping, and manufacturing transfer.
• Create engineering design documentation, technical records, engineering changes, and other product development artifacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience as an electrical design engineer on product development teams.
• At least 1 year of experience developing products in a regulated environment such as medical, aerospace, or military.
• Experience designing schematics in Altium or another schematic capture system.
• Familiarity with electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, IEC 60601 certification activities, and circuit simulation tools such as PSpice.
• Effective spoken and written English is required for policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications.
