Senior Project Manager (Mission Critical)

Location: Dallas, United States; on-site construction and frequent work at job sites required

What you will do

• Direct the overall completion, financial outcome, schedule, risk management, quality, and client relationships for complex commercial construction projects valued at $50M–$150M.
• Oversee on-site construction and supervise project engineers, assistant project managers, superintendents, field engineers, safety supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Lead preconstruction activities, including bid packages, pre-bid meetings, bid analysis, buy-out, and contract administration.
• Manage proposed changes and change orders by reviewing owner and architect requests and analyzing subcontractor proposals.
• Drive schedule compliance, cost savings, value engineering, budget accuracy, and resolution of disputes with project stakeholders.
• Cultivate client and industry relationships to win $25M or more in work annually.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant commercial construction experience.
• Demonstrated experience in vertical commercial construction with project values of $100M or more.
• Experience completing multiple projects as the project leader accountable for financial results, completion, and schedule.
• Strong understanding of pre-project planning, building construction, contract documents, and contract enforcement.
• College degree in a relevant field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Ability to work on-site, move around uneven job-site surfaces, climb ladders and stairs, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, Revit, or comparable construction technologies.
• Understanding of the design process and interest in integrated project delivery, process improvement, and construction technology.
