Electrical Engineering Technician

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; on-site 5 days per week. Core hours are 9:30 am–3:30 pm.

Compensation: $20.40–$37.80 per hour, with potential additional annual incentives.

What you will do

• Build prototype wire harnesses from engineering documentation, including cutting, termination, connector installation, and light soldering.
• Assemble and install electrical systems and components for prototype and pre-production builds.
• Work with engineers to diagnose wiring, connection, and component issues during product development.
• Perform hands-on electrical testing and diagnostics using multimeters, continuity testers, power supplies, and related equipment.
• Manage prototype electrical component and material ihirify.globalory.
• Support 5S and Kanban initiatives to improve workspace organization and material availability.

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical diploma, trade school training, or equivalent experience in electrical technology, electronics, mechatronics, industrial electricity, or a related field.
• Experience building, assembling, modifying, or testing wire harnesses, electrical systems, control panels, or related assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness drawings, and engineering prints.
• Understanding of voltage, current, resistance, continuity, and circuit operation.
• Experience using electrical testing equipment and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and proactive problem-solving skills.
