Electrical Test Technician 2

Location: Fontana, California, USA; onsite work in a production facility

Salary: $26.03–$35.14 USD per hour

What you will do

• Test main electrical distribution AC/DC systems using schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Test HVAC, lighting, receptacles, fans, fire alarm, battery systems, and cables.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to complete testing accurately and on schedule.
• Troubleshoot assembly, wiring, and testing issues.
• Prepare technical reports and recommend modifications to correct production problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in electrical testing or a related field.
• Knowledge of three-phase AC and DC control circuit testing.
• Working knowledge of standard electrical testing and measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and NEC codes.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
