Credit Collections Specialist

What you will do

• Review aging reports and identify invoices approaching their average collection periods.
• Contact customers verbally and in writing according to collection policies.
• Monitor aged accounts, prioritize delinquent accounts, and expedite resolution of unpaid balances.
• Recommend settlement options to management for approval.
• Support cross-functional projects and teams.
• Prepare accurate and timely performance metric reports.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of collections or related experience.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize, take initiative, solve problems, and work effectively under deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, analytical, mathematical, and technical skills.
• Ability to understand financial relationships and communicate with internal and external customers.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a related field.
• Business-to-business collections or accounts receivable experience.
• Knowledge of SAP and collection workflow tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
