Senior Credit & Collections Specialist

What you will do

• Review open accounts receivable and perform timely collection activities for North American customer accounts.
• Resolve billing issues, address delinquent accounts, and maintain strong customer relationships through professional calls and emails.
• Coordinate with Order Management and Accounting to ensure accurate cash application.
• Prepare weekly and quarterly collection metrics, account-ledger analyses, and other required reports.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts by reviewing current and future billings and expected collection dates.
• Manage software license-key extensions according to customer payment status and support occasional projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of collections experience, including interaction with a large customer base.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently, identify critical tasks, act with urgency, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Experience handling accounts receivable, cash receipts, and collection reporting.

Nice to have

• Credit experience.
• Experience with SAP, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
• Experience in the high-tech industry.
