Senior Product Manager, Life Insurance Products (Fintech)

Location: Remote, United States only

Salary: $126,000–$222,000 annual base salary, plus applicable bonus and equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development and evolution of life insurance products, including whole life, permanent life, term, indexed universal life, final expense, disability insurance, and riders.
• Define product strategy and medium- and long-term product visions aligned with customer and business needs.
• Partner with carriers, engineering, design, data science, internal stakeholders, and third-party providers to launch, integrate, and optimize products.
• Evaluate new product and distribution opportunities and lead experiments to validate hypotheses and move toward product-market fit.
• Modernize policy administration, carrier integrations, eApplication systems, policy contract creation, illustration platforms, and related infrastructure.
• Improve accessibility, simplicity, customer satisfaction, adoption, automation, and measurable business impact across the insurance lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including development and launch of life insurance products.
• Strong knowledge of the full life insurance lifecycle, including product design, distribution, underwriting, purchase, issuance, and administration.
• Hands-on experience with policy administration systems, carrier platforms, APIs, data pipelines, and operational workflows.
• Experience with ACORD standards, eApplication systems, policy document generation, and life insurance illustration platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent cross-functional communication, ownership, curiosity, and ability to operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
