Virtual Solutions Specialist (Revit)

Location: Dallas, United States; open to travel 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Create accurate Revit-based construction models from shop drawings, design models, scan data, redlines, and other project inputs.
• Translate subcontractor CAD shop drawings into Revit and place project-specific elements according to type, elevation, location, and field intent.
• Model construction components such as embeds, sleeves, tiebacks, shoring walls, and MEPF sleeves.
• Produce slab penetration drawings, embed drawings, integrated construction drawings, and other model-driven field deliverables.
• Support Autodesk Construction Cloud workflows for model exchange, coordination, collaboration, automation, and quantity extraction.
• Identify and communicate issues, manage shifting priorities, and meet tight production deadlines.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in construction, architecture, VDC, BIM, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit and working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Understanding of building systems, construction methods, installation procedures, and sequencing.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings, design models, redlines, and related project documents.
• Strong organization, communication, independent working, teamwork, and deadline-management skills.
• Interest in construction-focused modeling and willingness to learn new tools and workflows.
