Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Automotive)

Location: hirify.global, Wisconsin, United States; onsite role.

Pay range: $73,200–$117,800 annually.

What you will do

• Design and redesign automotive closure systems such as doors, hoods, glass, and associated hardware for the NGDV program.
• Perform engineering calculations, analysis, investigations, and system-performance modeling.
• Prepare and maintain layouts, drawings, specifications, bills of material, proposals, reports, and project documentation.
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and business disciplines, suppliers, customers, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide guidance to entry-level engineers, designers, and technicians and support multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited engineering program or related field.
• Three or more years of related engineering experience.
• Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems.
• Experience with a high-level CAD system.
• Ability to analyze technical information, apply engineering judgment, communicate findings, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
