Department Manager (Retail)

Location: 100 N Water St, Norwalk, CT 06854, USA; onsite at the SoNo Collection store

Compensation: $26.60–$30.59 per hour; non-exempt hourly position.

What you will do

• Lead the department and support an inclusive, collaborative, and entrepreneurial store culture.
• Manage the total omnichannel customer experience, including customer service, sales, fitting rooms, checkout, returns, and exchanges.
• Analyze sales and budget performance, identify commercial opportunities, and create plans to optimize results and profitability.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, evaluate, and develop team members while managing succession planning and schedules.
• Coordinate with Visual Merchandising to maintain high-quality fashion, visual, and commercial product presentation.
• Oversee stock levels, garment flow, omnichannel services, store technology, price presentation, back-of-house standards, and daily store opening and closing.
