What you will do
- Serve as the Level 3 escalation point for complex production incidents across legacy and .NET applications, databases, and reports.
- Perform root cause analysis, implement permanent fixes, manage critical incidents, and support SLA compliance.
- Maintain VB6 applications and develop bug fixes and minor enhancements for .NET Core and C# applications.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Support Crystal Reports and SSRS, including report troubleshooting, performance tuning, and reliability improvements.
- Mentor L1 and L2 support engineers and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge-base articles.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience developing, maintaining, and supporting software solutions with VB6, MS SQL, and .NET Core.
- Expert-level VB6 experience, plus practical knowledge of .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, and Postman.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including production support, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Server, SSRS, Crystal Reports, Azure DevOps, incident management, RCA, and SLA management.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and applying object-oriented programming principles.
- Very good English communication skills are required.
