TL;DR
Senior Back-End Engineer (.NET) (.NET/distributed systems): Designing and building modern services and web applications for a freight procurement platform with an accent on distributed systems, message brokers, microservices, and polyglot persistence. Focus on delivering working software in cross-functional Scrum teams, applying event-driven architecture, and mentoring engineers while using agentic AI coding tools in daily development.
Location: Remote-first or hybrid, with the role available in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico.

What you will do
- Design and build modern backend services and web applications for a freight procurement platform.
- Deliver working software as part of cross-functional Agile Scrum teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership on technical and team improvements.
- Use technical expertise to mentor team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building advanced web applications.
- Expert knowledge of .NET and experience with ASP.NET Core and .NET-based ORMs such as Entity Framework Core or NHibernate.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Kafka, and relational, document-style, and key/value datastores.
- Working knowledge of object-oriented programming, domain-driven design, polyglot persistence, event-driven systems, and microservices.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and with agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
- English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, strong communication skills, and a self-motivated working style.
Nice to have
- Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
- Background in transportation, two-sided marketplaces, or geographically distributed teams.
