Data Integration Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Bogotá, Colombia — 3 days working from home and 2 days onsite at Torre Krystal

What you will do

• Build integrations between enterprise applications, databases, external platforms, and data sources using APIs, ETL processes, scripting languages, and integration technologies.
• Define technical solutions with customers and internal teams, and support customer implementation and enterprise software deployment activities.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable data flows and system connectivity.
• Configure customer-facing workflows, forms, reports, and process automation components.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Customer Success, and Product teams to deliver solutions.
• Create integration specifications, deployment guides, workflows, and other technical documentation while contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency at B2 or higher.
• Experience implementing integrations between enterprise applications, databases, APIs, or third-party systems.
• Strong SQL, data handling, database, and analytical skills.
• Experience with ETL, data mapping, APIs, XML, scripting languages, or integration technologies.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and collaborate across technical and business teams.

Nice to have

• Customer-facing implementation or technical consulting experience.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, application infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise software deployments, or distributed architectures.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, business intelligence platforms, analytics tools, or large-scale data environments.
