.NET Senior VB6 (Brazil) (SQL Server/C# .NET): Supporting, evolving, and developing scalable enterprise applications with an accent on REST APIs, layered architecture, and database performance optimization. What you will do
- Support and evolve enterprise applications built with SQL Server and C# .NET.
- Design and develop robust, high-performance, and scalable systems.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, web services, Windows services, WPF, Windows Forms, MVC, and console applications.
- Maintain existing systems, identify optimization opportunities, and contribute to continuous engineering improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with client needs and user experience.
- Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing and autonomous problem-solving.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server 2016 or later, including stored procedures, functions, views, tables, indexes, profiling, and query performance optimization.
- Advanced C# and .NET Framework experience, including WCF, WPF, Windows Services, Web Services, Console Applications, and Web APIs.
- Experience with Windows Forms, MVC, database integration, data-loading patterns, and layered architecture.
- Experience developing REST APIs with JSON, HTTP headers, status codes, and authentication mechanisms.
- Practical experience with Git branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
- Clear communication, proactivity, autonomy, and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Production support, application monitoring, and performance profiling experience.
- Windows Server administration, IIS configuration, and debugging of complex multi-tier applications.
