TL;DR
Software Development Engineer 3 (C++): Designing, developing, and maintaining a Revenue Accounting platform that computes and tracks airlines’ real-time financial activities with an accent on technical design, software quality, and full lifecycle delivery. Focus on implementing product functionality, reviewing code, conducting performance testing, and debugging production issues across relational and non-relational databases.
Location: Hybrid work at the Bogota office, Colombia

What you will do
- Design, develop, maintain, and deliver functionality for the Revenue Accounting platform.
- Review specifications, propose technical solutions, and conduct feasibility studies.
- Develop software and documentation according to standards.
- Perform code reviews, unit tests, package tests, performance tests, and product acceptance validation.
- Debug production software in response to problem tracking records and change requests.
- Support product quality and fine-tuning throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Advanced understanding of object-oriented programming and UML.
- Advanced experience with C++ preferred, or C# and Java technologies.
- Expert knowledge of software development concepts, design patterns, algorithms, and security requirements.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, preferably MSSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of Git, branching techniques, and Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
