Mega Projects Estimator (Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants)

What you will do

• Review construction plans, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Develop accurate material quantity takeoffs for complex water and wastewater treatment plants and other critical infrastructure facilities.
• Evaluate materials and specialty components across early- and late-stage design-build projects.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, contractors, vendors, and the Pre-Bid team on scopes, quotations, RFIs, and bid strategies.
• Recommend value-engineering alternatives that preserve design intent while improving competitiveness and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate and review associate estimators' work and provide mentoring and training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of estimation experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction or critical infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience performing detailed material quantity takeoffs from construction plan sets.
• Strong understanding of civil and mechanical infrastructure systems.
• Experience working with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is typically required; certification may be required in some areas.

Nice to have

• Experience with design-build projects, value engineering, or complex bid strategies.
• Experience mentoring or reviewing associate estimators' work.
