Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Minneapolis, United States; frequent paid travel to the Minneapolis headquarters is required for company events, team events, and in-person collaboration.

Salary: $90,000–$132,000 annually, inclusive of a 20% bonus.

What you will do

• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, delivery ceremonies, capacity planning, and iterative delivery practices.
• Mentor and coach engineering team members through feedback, 1:1s, stretch opportunities, and personal development.
• Guide the creation, optimization, and maintenance of scalable software and data solutions for enterprise media measurement and optimization.
• Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, QA, IT, Infosec, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, manage dependencies, and communicate risks and decisions.
• Drive engineering standards for code quality, documentation, testing, maintainability, reliability, security, and deployment discipline.
• Champion responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools and practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in computer science, software engineering, or another technical discipline.
• Experience leading high-performing technical teams, including lead engineers, and developing cross-functional team members.
• Experience collaborating with product owners, stakeholders, and non-technical decision-makers to support business goals.
• Experience with at least one major programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with web technologies, SQL, GitHub, and cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum methodologies, scaled Agile frameworks, and the software development lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience with or strong interest in agentic AI technologies and practical applications.
• Experience with marketing APIs or automating data pulls from marketing platforms.
• Client-facing or consultative stakeholder experience.
• Familiarity with modern web APIs and full-stack frameworks.
• Experience influencing engineering budgets and investment decisions.
