Zone Maintenance Planner (Industrial Gas)

Location: South Jordan, Utah, United States; on-site industrial role. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or normal business hours. Travel up to 25%, including short-notice travel for 2–10 days.

Salary: $105,000–$115,000 annually, plus a 10% bonus.

What you will do

• Organize and execute turnaround (TAR) and capital (CAPEX) projects supporting Air Separation, Carbon Dioxide, and VSA plants.
• Develop detailed TAR execution plans covering HSE, contracting, procurement, project controls, staffing, and material management.
• Coordinate Capital, Controls, Engineering, Operations, and Safety teams to integrate project scope into turnaround plans.
• Optimize schedules and resource loading, manage scope changes, and ensure pre-TAR work and materials are ready before outages.
• Manage TAR organizations and contractor activities to meet scope, schedule, cost, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Report status, issues, cost, and schedule performance to the Steering Team and complete post-TAR meetings and zone forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of turnaround management or project engineering experience.
• Experience managing projects ranging from $250,000 to $10 million.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Maximo, and I-Procurement.
• Strong planning, organization, communication, interpersonal, procurement, contractor selection, contract, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work on-site in South Jordan, travel up to 25%, lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and elevated platforms, and enter confined spaces while using fall restraint and respirators.
