Planner, Operations, Gas

Location: Waterford, Connecticut, United States. Travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire is required as necessary, with emergency restoration assignments outside normal responsibilities, work hours, and location.

Annual salary: $97,390–$108,210, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Create district work plans and schedules that align gas distribution resources with workload demands.
• Monitor current and projected workloads to maximize productivity, control costs, and meet service-level agreements.
• Build and maintain short- and long-term forecasting and staffing models.
• Evaluate planning and scheduling procedures and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate compliance and mandated work with Compliance Coordinators.
• Prepare time, cost, workload, and management status reports and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in Gas Operations or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Working and technical knowledge of gas distribution construction standards, operating and maintenance procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in workload planning and resource allocation.
• Proficiency with PC desktop applications, including Microsoft Office, work management systems, and spreadsheets.
• Must be available for emergency restoration assignments and regional travel across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.
