Training Specialist 2 (SIGINT/RF)

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph.

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience.

What you will do

• Draft and finalize training documentation, including slides, diagrams, student guides, practical activities, and assessments.
• Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate instructor-led and web-based training.
• Provide classroom support and present training materials to large audiences.
• Brief military and agency personnel on operational concepts and provide guidance to junior training personnel.
• Analyze training needs, incorporate student and customer feedback, and improve training plans and curricula.
• Develop a common SIGINT collection management training partnership across departments to optimize collection operations.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable Polygraph are required.
• At least nine years of electrical engineering or computer science experience covering basic electronics, SIGINT systems, and computer systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications engineering, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, mathematics, education, liberal arts, or a similar field, or an equivalent documented combination of training and experience.
• At least three years of experience with VHF, UHF, RF theory, radio-wave propagation, radio equipment, and antennas.
• At least three years of experience with GSM, CDMA2000, UMTS, LTE, and WiFi wireless communication technologies.
• This is a direct-hire position; third-party staffing and recruiting firms are not considered.
