Associate Technical Designer - Intimates & Swim

What you will do

• Lead live fittings for swim and intimates garments, evaluating support, comfort, silhouette, and stretch-fabric performance.
• Provide precise fit comments and visual corrections to domestic and overseas vendors.
• Establish and re-evaluate annual blocks and make fit corrections using CAD and flat pattern-making.
• Build and maintain tech packs, including BOMs, construction templates, and stretch-based grade rules.
• Inspect samples from prototype through TOP production samples for construction integrity, stitch tension, and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with Design and Development on fabrications and trims, while monitoring bonding technologies, seam constructions, and market trends.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in technical design, specializing in swimwear, intimates, or high-stretch performance wear.
• Ability to adjust patterns for Junior and Plus sizing, with strong knowledge of body contouring and support.
• Proficiency in CAD software, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft or Google productivity suites.
• Strong understanding of elastics, flatlock and overlock machinery, and knit fabrications' effects on fit and recovery.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly with domestic and overseas partners.
