Solutions Architect (Cloud)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and govern enterprise-grade application architectures across cloud platforms, integration ecosystems, data domains, and business application portfolios.
• Translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and maintainable technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering leaders, and executive leadership to communicate technical trade-offs.
• Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering direction across multiple teams.
• Produce formal architecture artifacts and present architecture recommendations to senior leadership.
• Balance cost optimization, scalability, resilience, security, and maintainability requirements.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• New H-1B visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture; the position lists 14+ years of experience.
• Experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, event-driven architectures, identity, security, and enterprise-scale data governance.

Nice to have

• TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture certifications.
• Experience with large-scale ERP, CRM, or HCM transformation programs.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with LeanIX, Ardoq, or Sparx EA.
• Experience with cloud governance, FinOps, and cost transparency initiatives.
