Systems Architect (Cloud)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and govern enterprise-grade application architectures across cloud platforms, integration ecosystems, data domains, and business application portfolios.
• Translate strategic objectives into scalable, maintainable technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering leaders, and executive leadership.
• Define integration patterns, API architectures, and event-driven solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering direction across teams.
• Produce formal architecture artifacts and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
• Experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms.
• Deep familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, or another major enterprise platform.
• Knowledge of identity, security, data governance, cost optimization, scalability, and resilience at enterprise scale.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply. New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture certification.
• Experience with large-scale ERP, CRM, or HCM transformation programs.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with LeanIX, Ardoq, or Sparx EA.
• Experience driving cloud governance, FinOps, and cost transparency initiatives.
