What you will do
- Analyze and configure network management applications for medium- to critical-complexity networks.
- Diagnose network system problems through phone, email, and fax support.
- Resolve time-critical incidents and escalate complex issues to appropriate internal resources.
- Use test equipment and CSE lab configurations to simulate real-world problems.
- Train and mentor other customer support engineers.
- Document problems, solutions, case notes, and bug reports accurately.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Linux or Unix knowledge above user level.
- Strong SNMP skills.
- MySQL expertise and good Java knowledge.
- CCNA-level networking knowledge or certification.
- Experience with VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V virtualization.
Nice to have
- RHCE certification.
