TL;DR
IT Support Analyst (Windows/Linux Infrastructure): Providing tier 2 monitoring, incident resolution, and reliability support for data center infrastructure and business-critical applications with an accent on Windows servers, Linux, virtualization, storage, and enterprise batch environments. Focus on monitoring production batch flows, resolving major incidents, supporting disaster recovery exercises, deploying patches, and identifying automation opportunities.
Location: Remote, USA; fully remote. Night shift from 6pm to 6am in rotating 12-hour shifts, 3–4 days per week.

What you will do
- Monitor data center infrastructure, business-critical applications, storage, networking, printing, and batch environments.
- Provide tier 2 support and resolve issues across Windows, Linux, storage, Citrix, IIS, web, and middleware environments.
- Set up, modify, monitor, and track production batch job flows, including server reboots when required.
- Support escalated technical issues, major incidents, projects, and disaster recovery exercises.
- Assist with monthly patch deployments and infrastructure changes.
- Develop standard processes, document resolutions, and identify automation opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field plus one year of related work experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus three years of related experience.
- Basic infrastructure experience and Windows Server experience.
- Knowledge of Windows server and desktop operating systems, Linux and UNIX servers, and storage area network infrastructure.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Citrix.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, lead among peers, and work a rotating night-shift schedule.
