Salary: $86,500–$108,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility

What you will do

  • Characterize and analyze wafer and reticle handling products and technologies using laboratory equipment.
  • Collaborate with product engineering, science, product management, sales, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Lead mechanical, reliability, shock, vibration, and environmental testing for product development, qualification, manufacturing support, and material evaluations.
  • Develop innovative test methods and experimental approaches to evaluate product performance, reliability, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Design, build, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain laboratory equipment, data acquisition systems, and test fixtures.
  • Apply statistical methods to test data and communicate engineering conclusions through technical reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in science or engineering; mechanical engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering or R&D environment.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory testing, experimental setup troubleshooting, and engineering test data collection.
  • Strong data analysis skills using Excel and Minitab or JMP.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, creative problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Occasional travel may be required to collaborate with globally located engineering and manufacturing teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience with shock and vibration testing and analysis.
  • Experience in mechanical testing, validation, reliability engineering, data acquisition programming, motion control, instrumentation, semiconductor, cleanroom, particle, thermal, fluid, or polymer technologies.
  • Experience with shipping simulation testing, general laboratory practices and safety, or shock and vibration data acquisition and analysis.
  • Creo or SOLIDWORKS experience.
