Water Engineering Leader (Water/Wastewater)

Location: Remote, with candidates residing in Wichita, Kansas or Omaha, Nebraska and surrounding areas. Employees cannot currently reside in Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Puerto Rico. U.S. work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship is required.

Base compensation: $140,000–$180,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Oversee treatment, pumping, conveyance, storage, and distribution systems.
• Maintain long-term client relationships from project planning through delivery.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineers and designers while setting technical direction.
• Manage project risk and quality in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Support practice growth through proposals, strategic pursuits, and client expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering.
• Professional Engineer registration.
• Significant experience leading water or wastewater treatment and conveyance projects.
• Residence in Kansas or Nebraska is required for the role’s current hiring areas.
• Authorization to work for any U.S. employer without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
