Senior Professional Engineer, Water-Wastewater

Location: Bloomington, Minnesota; hybrid schedule with office attendance Tuesday through Thursday and work from home Monday and Friday. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to travel up to 15%.

Salary: $100,779–$149,695 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.

What you will do

• Lead complex public and private water and wastewater infrastructure and facility projects from concept through construction.
• Develop conceptual and detailed construction plans and specifications for treatment facilities, pump stations, and development systems.
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams, project strategy, client consultations, site visits, and project interviews.
• Drive business development and represent hirify.global at industry events.
• Mentor and develop engineering professionals while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Travel for team meetings, client consultations, site inspections, and project assignments, with occasional overnight travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer registration in the State of Minnesota.
• 10–20 years of progressive technical design experience, including at least five years managing public and private water and/or wastewater treatment infrastructure and facility projects.
• Experience managing projects and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong written, verbal communication, presentation, proposal, technical report, and project meeting skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship; a valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree focused on water and wastewater treatment.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary design projects with engineering fees exceeding $1 million.
• Business development and client management experience in Minnesota and the upper Midwest.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcMap, SWMM, AFT Fathom, SewerCAD, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, or Revit.
