Senior Staff Device Characterization Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Oversee and maintain HP4062/4073, HP8753, Agilent B1500, EG2080, EG4090, TEL Precio XL, and Cascade test and probing equipment.
• Perform wafer-level and package-part measurements for process and device characterization, EPROM testing, raw I-V curves, HCI, HTRB, gate charge, and reverse recovery.
• Conduct S-parameter measurements using HP8753D, manual probe stations, and HP IC-CAP.
• Develop software required by device development and modeling teams, including custom RMB-based solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to debug test-chip programs and upgrade lab hardware and software as testing requirements change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor device characterization.
• Experience with HP RMB or SPECS and electronic laboratory equipment, including automated probers, semiconductor parameter analyzers, and S-parameter systems.
• Experience with semiconductor layout tools such as Cadence Virtuoso.
• Knowledge of the underlying device physics of tested devices.
• Familiarity with Unix systems; experience with Python, MATLAB, JMP, or Splus/R is advantageous.
