Missile Test and Evaluation Analyst/Engineer (Missile Systems)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; on-site up to five days per week based on customer requirements. Limited telework or contractor-site work may be available with government approval. Travel to government laboratories, prime contractors, test ranges, and field activities is expected, generally 3–5 days per trip at approximately one trip per month.

What you will do

• Support missile and weapon-system test planning, execution, data analysis, and results reporting.
• Review test plans and documentation, develop and manage test requirements and objectives, and coordinate resources.
• Provide on-site technical support during test events and validate test procedures at laboratories, test ranges, and design-agent facilities.
• Coordinate activities among the Navy program office, laboratories, test ranges, design agents, and contractor organizations.
• Participate in technical interchange meetings and working groups to resolve issues.
• Develop and present technical and programmatic materials to technical and executive audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a technical discipline, or four years of equivalent technical experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• At least two years of test and evaluation experience related to DoD or naval weapon and missile systems engineering.
• Knowledge of test and evaluation, systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and system integration and testing.
• Knowledge of DoD and Department of the Navy procedures and policies, including the DoD 5000 process.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Office 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with SharePoint or other digital visualization and collaboration environments.
