Sr. Quality Supervisor - Enhancers

Location: Champaign, Illinois, United States; onsite at the Champaign manufacturing plant. Typically first shift, with availability for shifts, weekends, and required overtime.

New hire base salary: $89,800–$112,200 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain quality systems for the Enhancers area, including specifications, KPIs, Golden Rule, KHMS-FSQ, FSSC, and ISO plans.
• Identify trends and root causes affecting food safety and quality metrics, investigate consumer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Plan and support internal, external, customer, regulatory, Golden Rule, KHMS, and international audits, including follow-up on non-conformances.
• Supervise, train, coach, and mentor three Quality Technicians and the Enhancers Production team.
• Lead or support HACCP verification and revalidation, sanitation initiatives, laboratory testing improvements, and product hold/release processes.
• Provide quality and sanitation support for commercialization, construction, and project startup activities in the Enhancers area.

Requirements

• Experience in a quality or technical leadership role, or at least two years of experience in operations, quality, or technical R&D.
• Strong leadership, technical, communication, organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Working knowledge of quality systems, procedures, policies, sanitation practices, and food safety requirements.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and production-area activity.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and required overtime.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
