Sr. Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States; at least four days per week at the hirify.global Center. Travel may include up to 15% domestically and internationally. Relocation may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $124,127–$151,710 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Partner with and provide oversight to manufacturing sites to drive operational quality excellence and continuous improvement.
• Identify quality risks and variability, standardize work, error-proof operations, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing or supply-source changes through product and process qualifications, test-method implementation, design reviews, risk mitigation, and control plans.
• Lead cross-functional resolution of recalls, complaints, nonconforming materials, and other quality issues while addressing root causes.
• Support quality management systems, including corrective and preventive actions, supplier quality, and outsourced manufacturing quality improvement.
• Partner with division laboratories on measurement system analysis for R&D and plant test methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before the start date.
• At least three years of combined experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, and/or laboratory work.
• Experience with quality management systems, including change management, CAPA, complaint systems, quality data, and documentation systems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively.
• Experience working with customers and suppliers.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline.
• Five years of experience in a quality or engineering role.
• Project management, statistics, data analytics, and internal or external auditing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
